Zumba fitness classes are very popular at Physical Addiction. One of the main reasons for the popuarity of Zumba is that it is so much fun. It is based on latin dancing moves but you don't need to be a dancer or even know how to dance to participate. People of all ages are now participating in Zumba.

TURBO KICK ( $10/Class for Non Members )
Turbo Kick® - the fat-blasting, ab-defining cardio workout that is sweeping the USA health clubs and allows you to burn up to 1,000 calories an hour! A mix of kickboxing and simple dance grooves set to heart pounding dance music that will have you looking forward to your next workout!

BODYPUMP

BODYCOMBAT

BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.

BODYBALANCE

BODYBALANCE™ is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

AQUA AEROBICS

Aqua aerobics is not only a great way to get fit but it is also one of the safest. It keeps the heart and lungs healthy whilst toning the body and reducing fat, and also provides a good opportunity for a splash about in the water. Aqua aerobics is essentially aerobic exercise in the water. It takes place in shallow water approx 1 metre deep at our swimming pool and is part of an organised group session. Workouts comprise routines that are familiar to those who have experienced land aerobics, and include jumping jacks, cross-country skiing motion and walking and running backwards and forwards.

YOGA
Yoga classes are open to absolute beginners as well as those who have been doing yoga for some time. The emphasis is on releasing tension and getting to know the body through correct alignment. The result is increased circulation, flexibility, strength, balance, and a more naturally uplifted posture. Through practicing yoga you begin to become aware of your mind/body through attention to breathing, postural alignment and relaxation.”

BOOT CAMP

This fitness boot camp program is unlike any other

  • It is specifically designed to integrate tough work- outs with the support and motivation of a team
  • The activities are challenging and each day of boot camp is unique.
  • All activities are outdoors and held at the fitness centre.
  • Competition is encouraged and trying your best is mandatory.
